The role-switching feature, you can see how the course you manage appears to users in other roles (such as "Student").
Click the user icon at the top-right of the screen and select "Switch role to."

Selecting the desired role switches the course view to how it appears to that role.
To return to your original role, click the user icon at the top-right and select "Return to my normal role."
